A total of 20,000 cartons of supplies were sent to Ismailia, then transported to Arish in Egypt, before crossing into Gaza via humanitarian corridors.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to our synergy with Mishr Al Kheir, we’ve successfully sent another 14 trucks carrying 20,000 cartons of aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza. This reflects Baznas’s ongoing commitment to being present and ensuring that assistance reaches those most in need,” said Baznas Chairman Noor Achmad in a statement issued in Jakarta on Friday.
Baznas remains firmly committed to supporting the Palestinian people, in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s address at the UN General Assembly, where he reaffirmed Indonesia’s full support for Palestinian independence.
Achmad emphasized that the aid also represents the Indonesian people's solidarity and sense of brotherhood with Palestine.
“The President’s speech at the UN reignited our collective spirit, reminding us that the Palestinian struggle is also our struggle. This humanitarian aid is not just logistical—it’s a symbol of Indonesia’s compassion and unity with Palestine,” he said.
He further reiterated Baznas’s dedication to strengthening cross-border humanitarian solidarity and fully backing the Indonesian government’s diplomatic efforts for Palestinian independence.
Achmad expressed hope that the aid would help ease the suffering of Gaza’s residents, who continue to face blockades, food shortages, and the threat of a deepening humanitarian crisis.
“May this aid bring strength and comfort, reminding them they are not alone. Muslims in Indonesia, through Baznas, continue to stand with the Palestinian people,” he concluded.
