The meeting, set for Monday afternoon, will bring together foundation leaders, regional coordinators, and SPPG supervisors.
Maesyal said the step was needed to align perspectives and ensure the program is implemented safely and in line with procedures.
He noted that MBG in Tangerang District had so far run smoothly but said evaluations were essential to prevent incidents.
Elementary and junior high schools, along with members of the Indonesian Teachers’ Association (PGRI), will also be involved in the discussions as program beneficiaries.
The MBG program, launched nationwide by President Prabowo Subianto, is designed to provide children and communities with access to nutritious meals.
Maesyal stressed the need for consistent food quality and compliance with standards across all SPPG units.

He said inspections at several sites showed the program’s rollout in Tangerang remained safe. Among them, the SPPG managed by the Amal Salam Pancasila Foundation was recognized for meeting proper kitchen standards to support meal distribution.
The program, launched on Jan. 6, 2025, aims to improve the nutrition of children under five, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and schoolchildren up to senior high level.
Targeted to reach 82.9 million beneficiaries nationwide, MBG is one of the largest nutrition programs ever implemented in Indonesia.
On Sept. 26, the BGN reported 70 food poisoning cases linked to MBG between January and September, affecting 5,914 beneficiaries.
In response, the agency suspended operations at 56 kitchens connected to the cases.
