“We at the Ministry of Cooperatives will sign the joint decree with four ministers tomorrow,” said Ferry Juliantono during the inauguration of the Cooperative Information Center (BP‑PIP) management structure in Jakarta.
The decree (Surat Keputusan Bersama or SKB) will be signed by the ministers of Cooperatives, Finance, Villages, Home Affairs, and the State-Owned Enterprises Management Agency (BP BUMN).
It aims to boost funding and infrastructure support for cooperatives at village and subdistrict levels.
Funding will be channeled through the Association of State‑Owned Banks (Himbara) to provide investment and working capital, enabling warehouse and outlet construction.

“This includes investment and working capital for building warehouses, outlets, and other necessary facilities to support the operationalization of the Red and White Village/Subdistrict Cooperatives,” Ferry said.
Under the plan, cooperatives will receive support for building warehouses, sales outlets, and other infrastructure needed to operate more efficiently and productively.
Ferry added the program is more than a technical initiative: it is intended as a national movement engaging all segments of society to strengthen cooperative‑based economies at the grassroots level.
President Prabowo Subianto has instructed the Indonesian military (TNI) to assist in constructing warehouses and outlets throughout the country, turning the initiative into a tangible manifestation of a modern mutual cooperation economy.
“This is a movement, not just a government program. It is a state movement because all parties are involved, including the TNI, which has been directed to build warehouses and outlets across Indonesia,” Ferry said.
According to data from merahputih.kop.id, 11,225 village or subdistrict cooperatives already have at least one active outlet, and there are a total of 15,970 cooperative outlets operating across Indonesia.
