"Mr. Vice President has instructed us to keep optimizing the roadmap for the 'Lapor Mas Wapres' channel to facilitate the formulation of policies," acting secretary for the vice president, Al Muktabar, stated in Jakarta on Thursday.
He pointed out that the Vice Presidential Secretariat has received 16,505 reports from residents in various regions through the complaint channel since its launch on November 11 last year. The reports cover educational, social, environmental, and security issues, among other matters.
As of November 10, 2025, he continued, most reports—66.07 percent—were submitted through the channel's WhatsApp line, while the remainder were lodged via its offline service, accessible after registration at lapormaswapres.id.
Muktabar underscored that all submitted reports and complaints have been acted upon through coordination between the central and regional governments and relevant parties, reflecting the state's commitment to heeding and responding to public voices.
He cited an example involving a report filed by Dinda Rosita, a resident of Blitar District, East Java, who struggled to continue her studies at Widyagama University in Malang due to financial constraints.
"The Vice Presidential Secretariat followed up the report to the Blitar district government for verification," the official added.
He explained that the verification confirmed Rosita's eligibility for assistance, which was subsequently provided by the National Alms Agency (Baznas) to cover her outstanding tuition fees directly to the university.
Furthermore, Muktabar highlighted that the government has integrated the complaint channel's system with the national public service complaint platform SP4N LAPOR! to expedite report submissions and strengthen collaboration among relevant state institutions in handling public complaints.
He then affirmed the Vice Presidential Secretariat's commitment to upgrading the "Lapor Mas Wapres" platform to better serve the people and respond to their concerns with fairness, empathy, and accountability.
