On the second day of his visit to the Core Government Center Area of IKN, Raka ensured the provision of modern, integrated, and high-quality educational facilities, from primary to secondary levels.
“The integrated educational facilities being developed here are not limited to classrooms,” Raka said in an official statement received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Wednesday.
“They also include technology and science laboratories, student activity rooms, and various supporting facilities to ensure a high-quality teaching and learning process in the new capital,” he added.
According to the vice president, the presence of comprehensive schools, from primary to secondary levels, is a vital element in building a family-friendly urban ecosystem and oriented toward improving the quality of human resources.
The vice president also inspected the interior areas of the buildings to assess the readiness of classrooms and other supporting facilities.
Raka also expressed hope that these educational facilities would create a safe, inclusive, and competitive learning environment while serving as an important foundation for developing high-quality human resources toward Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia).
The elementary and kindergarten school buildings are constructed on a 5,520 square meter plot with a total building area of 8,460 square meters. The complex consists of two basement levels and four floors and is equipped with 20 classrooms.
The junior high school building stands on a 5,520 square meter site with a building area of 5,819 square meters. It has nine classrooms and is complemented by various supporting learning facilities, including laboratories and student activity rooms.
Meanwhile, the senior high school building is built on a 4,061 square meter plot, with a total building area of 8,302 square meters. The building comprises four floors with nine classrooms for three grade levels.
Each classroom is designed to accommodate 32 students and is supported by comprehensive learning facilities, including language, computer, and arts laboratories, as well as physics, chemistry, and biology labs.
