Of course, we will take the job to the fullestJakarta (ANTARA) - President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Hanif Faisol Nurofiq as deputy coordinating minister for food affairs at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday.
The decision was stipulated in the Presidential Decree Number 51 P of 2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy Coordinating Ministers of Kabinet Merah Putih for the 2024-2029 Period, which was signed by President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta on April 27, 2026.
"I swear by God that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will strictly enforce all laws and regulations in my service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of office, work to the best of my ability, and with a full sense of responsibility," Nurofiq read the oath.
In advance the inauguration ceremony, Nurofiq said he was ready to carry out any new position assigned by President Subianto.
"Whatever the president orders, I believe the president has carefully considered it. Of course, we will take the job to the fullest," he said to reporters.

The deputy coordinating minister for food affairs is a new position within the ministry, where Nurofiq will serve under Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan in achieving food self-sufficiency and running the Waste-to-Energy-Electricity Processing (PSEL) program which has previously been under the auspices of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs.
Nurofiq previously served as minister of environment. Prior to his appointment, he also served as director general of Forestry Planology and Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
The ceremony was held simultaneously with the inauguration procession of other officials, namely Muhammad Qodari as head of the Indonesian Government Communications Agency, General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman as chief of Presidential Staff (KSP), Jumhur Hidayat as minister of Environment, and Abdul Kadir Karding as head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency (Barantin).
