"He was put into the Salemba penitentiary," Hengky`s lawyer Andi Kurniawan said here on Friday.
Hengky Baramuli is the last politician held by KPK for allegedly receiving bribes in the selection of central bank senior deputy governor Miranda Goeltom in 2004.
With his arrest the total number of politicians held in connection with the case now reaches 25.
Hengky Baramuly who had moved from Golkar Party to the Democrat Party underwent interrogation from 10 am and taken to the penitentiary at 3 pm.
KPK has also grilled Rusman Lumbantoruan over the same case after being held since Tuesday along with other suspect Willem Tutuarima.(*)
