Head of North Sulawesi`s Department of Transportation, Communication and information, Parlindungan Tampubolon disclosed this here on Tuesday, after a meeting with the Direx ARF executive committee.
Parlindungan said President Yudhoyono was scheduled to open the ARF Direx at about 9 - 9:30 am local time. The show will continue with air, sea and land demonstrations and other demos from the rescue team.
After that at between 10:30 and 1 pm, the President is scheduled to visit Indonesia`s warship KRI Suharso together with all the representatives of delegations and VIP guests. The President will hold a press conference and lunch on the ship.
Parlindungan said in the afternoon, the president, ministers and governors are scheduled to have an "executive dinner" aboard a Japanese warship at the invitation of the Japanese Navy.
"Then on March 16 the ARF Direx agenda will include VIP visits and the observer program, the `Maasing tsunami drill`, the press tour and evaluation of the exercises. In the afternoon the group visited the Wori, Kimabajo, Blue Banter and Bunaken," he said.
According to Parlindungan, the agenda for March 17 and March 18 included VIP visits and observer programs, exercise and press tour.
While the closing day will end with a mangroves and tree planting program by representatives of delegations and a city tour of Manado - Minahasa Utara - Tondano - Manado.
Parlindungan said at the reception of delegates on March 13 there will be public performances and dialogue in Maasing, Manado.
Direx ARF will be followed by 27 countries of ASEAN, the United States and European countries.
