"We have been informed that dozens of protesters were detained in rallies Friday in various cities and have a list of their names," the group said in a press release, followed by a list of 41 names of people reportedly detained in and around Damascus, Homs, Deir al-Zor and other cities.
"Security forces in Damascus also detained Doha Hssan and Zaher Almein today, Sunday," it added.
Amnesty International has compiled a list of 93 people arrested this month, some for their online activities, in the cities of Damascus, Aleppo, Banias, Daraa, Hama, Homs, and others.
Protests have erupted in Syria over the past two weeks with the southern city of Daraa emerging as the hub of a movement demanding major reforms.
Activists have said that more than 120 people were killed in the unrest. Officials have confirmed around 30 deaths. (*)
