Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, accompanied by the first lady is on Thursday to leave for a working visit to Bali where he will open an ASEAN finance ministers` meeting.

The president is scheduled to depart from the Halim Perdana Kusuma air force base at 14.00 western Indonesian time and to arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar, Bali, at 16.30 Central Indonesian time.

The 15th ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting would be officially opened on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 09.00 local time and take place at the Bali international Convention Center, The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali.

The event would also be attended by ASEAN Secretary General Surin Pitsuwan, the Asian Development Bank President, the World Bank`s Managing Director and International Monetary Fund Managing Director.

President Yudhoyono is also scheduled to receive courtesy calls from the ASEAN Finance Ministers and the ASEAN Secretary General during his stay in Bali.

The Finance Minister of ten ASEAN member countries is one of the ASEAN Summit series that is planned to be held in Jakarta May 2011.

Indonesia is now acting as the ASEAN chair country for 2011 and trusted to hold the ASEAN Summit, Ministerial Meeting and Senior Official Meetings.(*)
