"The democratization should be constantly consolidated so that it secures sovereignty, justice, and prosperity to all people of Indonesia," the vice president said at a function to open the Confederation of Prosperous Indonesian Labor Union (KSBSI) conference.
Boediono hoped that KSBSI would be a reliable guard of reform and democracy in Indonesia because the labor movement was an integral part of reform and democracy in the country.
"The reform and democratization will only be successful if the reform components including the labor movement are successful and synergize with each other," the vice president said.(*)
