"The vice president has ordered the speeding up of the settlement of the Gayus court mafia case," Djoko said here on Friday.
However, he said, the law enforcing agencies should collect strong pieces of evidence so that the results of the court proceedings would be in accordance with what was expected.
The chief political and security affairs minister made the remarks after a meeting with the vice president to report on developments in the handling of Gayus` case.
Besides that, the minister said, the vice president also asked investigators to expand their examinations over Gayus`s bribery case.
"Investigators should not limit themselves to new evidence only," he said.
The meeting which was held at the vice presidential office was a routine one organized to hear latest developments on the handling of the legal mafia case of Gayus.
Police Chief in the meeting, according to Djoko, reported the latest developments of the handling the Gayu`s legal mafia case.
"The police chief reported that some of the cases have had their verdicts and some others are in the appeal process," Djoko said.
