Dehiba, Tunisia (ANTARA News/Reuters) - Forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi are fighting a gunbattle with rebels around the Libyan town of Wazin on the Libyan-Tunisian border.

A Reuters correspondent on the Tunisian side of the border said he could hear artillery rounds and small arms fire.

He said Tunisian border guards had closed the nearby Dehiba-Wazin border crossing and were evacuating people from the area.(*)
