Among the ASEAN leaders attending the function were Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia, Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong of Laos, Prime Minister Dato` Sri Mohd Najid of Malaysia, Prime Minister Thein Sein of Myanmar, President Benigno S Aquione III of the Philippines, Senior Minister S Jayakumar of Singapore representing Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva of Thailand and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung of Vietnam.
It was also attended by the chairman of Indonesia`s People`s Consultative Assembly (MPR), Taufik Kiemas, head of Constitutional Court Mahfud MD and all cabinet ministers as well as presidential special staff.
President Yudhoyono was flanked by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono.
