Recruitment need to be correct, papers need to be complete and legal, 200 hours of training and departure according to existing regulations,"Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur will prepare the socialization of a revised memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the placement of household maids (PLRT) which would soon be signed by Indonesia and Malaysia.
"We will invite workers agencies in Malaysia to a meeting within the context of the signing of the revised MoU," manpower attache at the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur Agus Triyanto said at his office Tuesday.
He said in the meeting we will ask the workers agencies through their organizations also to continue with the socialisation of the planned signing of the MoU.
"The meeting is expected to be held in June or even earlier before entering the fasting month of Ramadhan," Agus said.
In the meantime, the Indonesian embassy hoped the preparation Indonesian workers need to be adjusted to needs, otherwise the potential employers should find a replacement.

In the meantime, the revised MoU is ready for signing by both Indonesia and Malaysia by the end of May 2011 as there are no more obstacles to realizing the jont agreement.
"If everything goes well, the revised MoU will be signed by Manpower and Transmigration Minister Muhaimin Iskandar and Malaysian Manpower Resouces S. Subramaniam in andung on May 30, 2011," head of the information, social and cultural affairs at the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur Suryana Sastradiredja said.
He said the signing of the MoU will give maximum protection to wokers and their employers in the informal sector.(*)
