Nairobi (ANTARA News/Reuters) - A petrol station in downtown Nairobi was burning on Sunday after an explosion was heard in the area, Kenyan media reported.

More than 20 people were injured in the blast and taken to a local hospital, a Reuters photographer said. The cause of the blast was not immediately clear.

The east African nation has suffered bombings in the past, the most recent being a bomb on a Kampala-bound bus, that killed two people in December. (*)
