"The MR A issue is only a kind of conspiracy theory aimed at exaggerating something which is actually non-existent, Pramono Aung said at the parliament building here on Monday.
Earlier, Deputy Secretary General of the PD Ramadhan Pohan said that there was a "Mr A" which deliberately tried to ruin the Democratic Party.
He said that other PD elites said it was not true there was a "Mr A", and they had denied it.
"Mr A is Mr unclear. Luckily he is not Mr Ariel Peterpan," he said.
Another Deputy House Speaker, Priyo Budi Santoso, said meanwhile that Ramadhan Pohan should not raise such unclear issues.
After all, Ramadhan is not able to explain who the "Mr A" he was referring to. That meant that he was only trying to divert the main issue on the Democrat Party in the past several weeks, he said.
Priyo said the Golkar Party reminded politicians to practice sound politics and not to float allegations here and there that could create chaos. (*)
