"We plan to send a protest through the Indonesian ambassador to the Saudi government," Law and Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar said.
He said that the Indonesian government regretted the execution of Ruyati binti Satubi (54) who was found guilty of killing a Saudi women in January last year.
After all, the Saudi government did not notify the Indonesian embassy in Riyadh over its plan to execute Ruyati.
Ruyati who was sent to Saudi Arabia by manpower supplier firm PT Dasa Graha Utama, was found guilty of killing Saudi Khairiya bint Hamid Mijlid on January 12, 2010 by striking her repeatedly on the head with a meat chopper and stabbing her in the neck.
She was executed on Saturday after she failed to obtain a pardon from the victim`s family.(*)
