Rome (ANTARA News/IRNA-OANA) - Iran's Ambassador to Rome Mohammad-Ali Hosseini says terrorism is the biggest challenge of human being community today.

Speaking prior to the International Terrorism Campaign Conference, which is to be held in Tehran from June 25-26, Hosseini said tourism is the result of false attitude of certain people and hegemonic desires of a number of powers.

"Terrorism is one of the biggest challenges of the community of human beings and the most dangerous threats against rights of nations and international stability over recent decades, so it is condemned in any form and nature,? he said in an interview with IRNA in Rome.

He said terrorism is a tool in hand of the imperialist powers, using it for specific purposes.

Elsewhere in the interview, Hosseini said Iran with more than 17,000 of its citizens martyred is one of the biggest victims of the sinister terrorism phenomenon.
