Magelang, Central Java (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had lunch with Military Academy cadets in Magelang, Central Java, on Wednesday.

At the lunch the President was flanked by National Defense Forces (TNI) Commander Admiral Agus Suhartono, Army Chief of Staff General Pramono Edhie Wibowo, Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Imam Sufaat and Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Soeparno.

The menu included fried chicken, vegetable soup, soybean cake, and tofu.

President Yudhoyono appeared to enjoy the nostalgic event at his former alma mater. He graduated from the academy in 1973.

In line with tradition, the lunch was opened with a cadet company commander reporting to the leader of the lunch specially held that day for President Yudhoyono.

President Yudhoyono then struck his glass three times as a signal to start the lunch. He did the same thing it to close the lunch.

President Yudhoyono visited the academy to give directives to high- and middle-ranking TNI officers.
