West Nusa Tenggara police spokesman Adjunct Senior Commissioner Sukarman Husein confirmed here on Monday that "a team from Densus 88 of the National Police Headquarters is still chasing the three" who had been put on the police`s wanted list.
He said the police were still searching for some school board members for being indicated to be involved in the crime although the chief of the school, Abrori Ali Gani, had been arrested.
It was reported the school leaders had fled to hilly regions in the districts of Bima and Dompu but their identities were already known by police, he said.
"Some are still being chased. Therefore investigation of suspects in the case has been made exclusive," he said.
He said the police had already identified the wanted school board members and therefore the hunt would be continued.
Based on initial investigation the school was occupied by 15 former school students some of them being school board members and 36 students.
All the school board members and students fled when police raided the school on July 13, he said.
He said they were first believed to have fled to Bima and Dompu after search was done none of them had not been found there.
During the raid the police did not find anyone in the school but only some explosive materials and several other dangerous stuff.
The police discovered things like molotov cocktails, 30 arrows, two computer units and a printer, a rifle, nine machetes, an axe, a cellphone, a box of Korans and a uniform of Jamaah Anshorut Tauchief (JAT), dozens of compact discs on jihad and bomb assembling materials such as wires, a welder and a lighter.
The raid was done on the third day following a bomb explosion in the school on July 11 killing one teacher and after the school board members and students blocked access and upon conviction that bomb materials were kept in the school.
So far the police have named five suspects in connection with the incident namely Abrori and four of his friends.
The police meanwhile have also arrested Sa`ban Arahman (18) who had killed a police officer of Bolo, Bima.
All of the six people are facing terrorism charges.
