Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)`s Ethics Committee on Wednesday started questioning its enforcement deputy Ade Rahardja and spokesman Johan Budi in connection with recent statements by corruption suspect Nazaruddin.

The KPK recently set up the Committee following public calls after Nazaruddin mentioned the names of the KPK members in his statements made from abroad.

Ade Rahardja said he would explain to the Committee about the two meetings he had held with Nazaruddin early in 2010.

He said the explanation that he would give to the Ethics Committee would not be different from what he had already said to the media so far.

He had told the media that Nazaruddin in the meeting had asked the KPK to stop investigating several alleged corruption cases including the one linked to health equipment procurement.
