Semarang (ANTARA News) - Home-bound Idul Fitri travelers still kept coming to Semarang`s Tanjung Emas port, Central Java, on Monday, a command post coordinator said.

Eka Pijambada, head of the Semarang transportation office`s integrated command post, said here on Monday that a ship carrying Idul Fitri travelers from Kalimantan still arrived at Tanjung Emas ports on Monday.

He said that the ship which arrived on Monday was the KM Dharma Kencana 2 from which a total of 913 passengers disembarked at the port.

Eka said that in the last three days there were still ships arriving at Tanjung Emas seaport. Among those were KM Lawit for Sampit-semarang route, KM Kirana 2 for Pontianak-Semarang route, KM Egon for Kummai-Semarang, KM Dharma Ferry 2 for Sampit Semarang and KM Sirimau for Batulicin - Kalimantan route.

Besides regular ships, a warship `KRI Banjarmasin` also berthed at the port on Sunday, carrying travelers on motor vehicles from Jakarta.

"There were about 700 motorcyclist travelers unloaded by the warship at the port," he said.
