The flight pass of the five Sukhoi SU-27SK and SU-30MK jet fighters in the 66th TNI anniversary general rehearsal over the Cilangkap TNI headquarters in Jakarta Monday.
The general rehearsal was witnessed by TNI commander Admiral Agus Suhartono and the three chiefs of staff was also celebrated by a flight pass of Hawk 100/200s.
Besides the flight pass of the to TNI jet fighters the TNI anniversary was also celebrated this year by free falls of TNI and Police personnel.
The jumbers came out of the belly of a C-130 Hercules flying over the TNI headquarters in Cilangkap.
The 66th TNI anniversary was also celebrated by self-defense skills and artist performances.
The 66th TNI anniversary was themed "With Cohesiveness and Professionalism TNI Along with National Components Ready to Defend the Sovereignty and Intactness of the Indonesian State.".
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to lead the TNI founding anniversary entering its more than half a century. (*)
