Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) will cut its investment by 64.58 percent from Rp103.84 billion in 2011 to Rp49.72 next year, its President Director Ito Warsito said.

The BEI president director said that the investment value next year will be reduced because the company this year had done a lot of expanding.

"Next year we will not investment as much as this year (2011) because we have already expanded the strategic trade system a lot this year," he said here on Wednesday.

Ito also predicted that next year BEI would gain a business income of Rp538.85 billion, a business profit of Rp103.84 billion and other incomes totaling Rp71.15 billion.

He said that BEI also projected its net profit after tax would reach Rp147.41 billion at the end of 2012.

The company also predict the number of companies conducting initial public offering at 25 issuers, a number which is equal to that in 2010 and 2011.
