Palembang, S Sumatra (ANTARA News) - Two swimmers, respectively from Thailand and Singapore set new records in the 26th Southeast Asian Games at the Jakabaring swimming pool here on Saturday.

The two new SEA Games records were set by Nattapong Katin of Thailand in the men`s breast stroke event clocking at 2 minutes 12.99 seconds breaking the old record of 2 minutes, 13.42 seconds on his own name, and by Li Tao of Singapore in the women`s 100 m butterfly style clocking at 58.84 seconds breaking the old SEA Games record of 59.24 seconds, also on her name.
