Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian wushu athletes won two more gold medals after Susyana Tjhan and Achmad Hulaefi emerged as champions at the wushu competition in the 26th SEA Games at the Senayan Tennis Indoor Stadium here on Sunday.

With the addition of two gold medals, the Indonesian wushu team outstripped the target of five gold medals from the event.

The first gold medal came from Achmad Hulaefi who won the Daoshu and Gunshu all-round title.

Born on October 14, 1989, Hulaefi collected a total score of 19.43 consisting of 9.71 from Gunshu and 9.72 from Daoshu.

The silver medal went to Manh Quyen Nguyen of Vietnam with a total score of 19.42 and the bronze medal to Shi Chuan Ong of Malaysia with a total score of 19.40.

Five wushu athletes from four countries took part in the finals for Daoshu and Gunshu all-round titles.

Indonesian wushu athlete Aldy Lukman meanwhile ranked fourth with a total score of 19.10 and Kyaw Zin The of Myanmar came in fifth with a total score of 18.88.

Susyana emerged as a champion in the Jianshu and Qiangshu all-round division with a total score of 19.44 consisting of 9.72 from Jianshu and 9.72 from Qiang Shu.

The silver medal went to Sandi Oo of Myanmar with a total score of 19.42 and the bronze medal to Thuy Vi Duong of Vietnam with a total score of 19.41.

In the women`s Nan dao & Nan Gun class, Indonesian wushu athlete Dessy Indri Astuti won a silver medal with a total score of 19,05 and Cheah Xuen Tai of Malaysia snatched a gold medal with a total score of 19.35.

Indonesian Ivana Adelia Irmanto who contributed a gold medal from the women`s Nan Quan division to the Indonesian team last Friday ranked fifth in the women`s Nan dao & Nan Gun class on Sunday with a total score of 18.94.
