"We are certainly offering distinctive culinary preparations, made of strawberry," Ketut Muja said, adding that the culinary preparations with strawberry were not widely known among food businesses in the resort island.
Muja said that the strawberry taste could be found in juices and cakes but he was making every effort to offer unique and typical dishes of fried rice with the fruit as raw material.
He added that the fried rice with strawberry tasted different but it also used other raw materials such as chicken, garlic, and salt so it looked like fried rice in general.
"Fried rice in general uses tomato sauce but we use strawberry sauce and strawberry fruits in ours," Muja said.
He admitted that both domestic and foreign tourists liked strawberry-based fried rice very much.
Muja said that Bali Strawberry Farm and Rest Area also offered pancakes and fried banana with strawberries in addition to strawberry-based fried rice.
