The man, a prisoner who had been granted a temporary release for Christmas holidays, broke into two houses in the western district of Sao Paolo on Saturday night and stole clothes, electronic gadgets and a traditional Christmas cake, Panettone, police said.
The owners of the burgled houses called the police and the naked thief was soon arrested.
It is still unclear why the man had no any clothes on, police reported.
