"The extra-parliamentary activities will be driven by public disappointment over big cases that have remained unsettled such as the Century Bank case, the tax mafia case," he said at a discussion on "Reflection of Golkar Party in the Struggle to Prepare for Indonesia`s Future" at the party`s headquarters here on Tuesday.
The discussion was attended by deputy general chairmen Syarif Cicip Sutarjo and HR Agung Laksono as well as secretary general Idrus Marham.
"Extra-parliamentary activities occur because there is public disappointment and unrest," Aburizal said.
He said he would call on all Golkar cadres to continue monitoring what has made the people to be so disappointed that they conduct extra-parliamentary activities.
"I ask issues that have caused public unrest to be included in the party`s programs and conveyed at the House of Representatives (DPR)," he said.
Aburizal Bakrie said a lot of money politics and compromises had occurred that would reduce political ethics and could even cause conflicts.
He referred as an example to recent demonstrations in Papua that led to conflicts believed to be caused by public disappointment.
"The Papua problem has become a national and even an international issue," he said.
The demonstrations recently in Mesuji and Bima that also led to rioting also had also been caused by public disappointment, he said.
Aburizal appealed to regional governments to implement the regulations well and wisely by accommodating all sides.
