Tel Aviv (ANTARA News) - Saudi-based hackers have broken into credit cards data of at least 400,000 Israelis, Israeli credit companies said on Tuesday.

The companies concerned said hackers had also attacked the website of the sports channel ONE where they put out all the confidential information about credit card owners.

In a message left on the website, the hackers said their action was aimed to undermine the financial system of "the Zionist regime".

Most of the credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express, RIA Novosti reported.
