"I hope the youths from Indonesia and India can cooperate to face various challenges and make use of every opportunity in the future," Biren said at a cultural event themed, "A Slice of India" at Paramadina University.
On the occasion the Indian envoy said it was of a great importance for youths from the two countries to mutually study the culture of each other.
"By understanding the culture of each other, the youths of the two countries can establish and step up better cooperation in the future," Biren said.
He said the two countries were still facing with the challenges of gender inequality, poverty, and freedom of the press.
Biren expressed hope that the cultural event of "A Slice of India" would be able to strengthen the the 60-year relation of Indonesia and India.(*)
