The special presidential airplane landed at the airport at 3.45 PM local time, Western Indonesia Standard Time/WIB.
The president was accompanied by Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and a number of state officials, including Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Chief Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, Agriculture Minister Suswono and Home Affairs Minister Gamawan Fauzi.
Yudhoyono was in Jambi province for two days, beginning on Thursday, to attend the Press Day anniversary celebration.
Following the ceremony, the president visited a Press Exhibition as well as Jambi Expo 2012. Participating in the exhibition were a number of press institutions, including ANTARA national news agency.
The president left Jambi for Jakarta at 2:00 pm. Before he left, the president visited a `Patin` catfish fish cultivation center.
