Suleija, Nigeria (ANTARA News/AFP) - Several people were wounded in explosion near a church outside the Nigerian capital on Sunday, the latest blast in a country grappling with a wave of attacks blamed on an Islamist sect.

"There was an explosion this morning in Suleija but it was minor. The explosion came from a parked car which did not have a licence plate," said state police spokesman Richard Oguche. (M014)
