Eweng Fatimah was trapped in the landslide that had affected four houses in Bogor City, West Java, on Sunday at 08.30 a.m.
A joint team of rescue workers tried to evacuate her, a source said, adding that the houses were inhabited by a total of 12 families.
"It is very risky if we conduct an evacuation today due to the unstable soil and movements of the building remnants," Teofilo Patrocinio Freitas, head of Bogor city`s fire extinguishing and disaster handling division said here on Sunday.
The joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team resumed the evacuation effort after the heavy rain stopped in late afternoon of the day.
Last month, a landslide triggered by incessant rains in East Nusa Tenggara province buried four elementary school students killing one of them.
Landslides often happen during the rainy season in Indonesia.
