The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce pushes forward to develop Thai and ASEAN Fashion Industry and Leather Goods to the World Stage for BIFF&BIL 2012
The Department of International Trade Promotion aimed to support and encourage Thai Fashion Industry and Leather Goods to develop further by providing a special seminar on the topic "The Expectation of Fashion media for Thai Fashion Industry and Leather Goods" by guest speaker, Ms. Kusuma Chaiyaporn, the editor in chief of L'Officiel Thailand. Ms.Chaiyaporn, whom has over 20 years of experience in fashion magazine, will help the participants understand and adapt new strategies to promote their products according to the Media's perspective, as a result making the products more reachable and direct to the market. From this special seminar, the participants will also understand the expectation of Foreign Fashion Media, which will help the participants develop their products to the International Standard with a unique standing point to stand confidently alongside of products from countries such as France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as getting the attention from Thai Fashionistas.
Mrs. Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, Director-General of Department of International Trade Promotion stated, "The Department has been more than welcome to support BIFF&BIL, as this year BIFF&BIL will reach its 30th, and we are looking forward to this year's BIFF&BIL 2012 as a leap to its success by stepping up to be an International stage of exhibiting products from Fashion Industry and Leather Goods. It is highly anticipated that more ASEAN countries would join us in BIFF&BIL 2012. The Department has invited special guests who are well-versed in the fashion industry to give out tricks and tips to entrepreneurs who are inspired and guided them in depth. In addition, the entrepreneurs also have the opportunity to understand the expectations and needs from a famous U.K. designer's point of view, which will lead to product development and create a full cycle development of the Thai fashion industry."
BIFF&BIL 2012 is an exhibition of products from the Fashion and Leather Goods Industry. The exhibition, with international standards, is supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. BIFF&BIL 2012 will be held from 27th June to 1st July 2012 at Challenger Hall 2 Impact Meung Thong Thani, Thailand.
