Tehran (ANTARA News) - A senior Iranian lawmaker said the decision to carry on talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany (P5+1) is " positive," Iran`s Press TV reported on Friday.

The continuation of talks will lead to Tehran`s success, lawmaker Mohammad Karamirad, also a member of Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, was quoted as saying.

There was a time when the West did not even want Iran to have ten centrifuges, but now it has hinted about accepting enrichment up to 2.5 to 5 percent, Karamirad said as quoted by Xinhua News Agency.

"They (P5+1) are holding the next round of talks in a county that was not among those who imposed sanctions against Iran, and that is a victory for our nation," said Karamirad in reference to Moscow as the venue to host the next meeting.

Iran and the six world powers held the second round of renewed nuclear talks in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Wednesday and Thursday. The talks were concluded with a plan to hold another meeting in the Russian capital next month. (H-AK)
