"The private sector and the government are often late in benefiting the real opportunities for our economy and businesses," Yudhoyono said on the plane heading to Mexico, Sunday, for the G20 Summit.
The president said, therefore he always involved businessmen in economic diplomacy in various international fora.
"The objective is to remove any gap of what I have been doing - through diplomacy, negotiations, talks, and what can be achieved for Indonesia," he said.
The G20 forum often discusses about the investment climate, the head of state said.
"Frankly speaking, we continue improving the investment climate," he said.
For that purpose, the government is building and renovating various infrastructures, he stated.
In the G-20 Summit, Yudhoyono will convey Indonesia`s commitment to financial inclusion at the Los Cabos Financial Inclusion Event. He will also encourage global economic recovery efforts by proposing a number of measures.
Indonesia will encourage the creation of more conducive climate to recover the global economy from the lingering financial crisis, particularly in the euro zone.
Besides, Indonesia will also encourage efforts to get developing countries` interests to be part of G-20`s main agenda, particularly in the fields of infrastructure development and financial inclusion.
The G-20 Summit will bring together leaders of 20 world economic powers, including US President Barack Obama.
The G20 Leaders` Summit is to be held on 18 and 19 June at the Convention Center, Los Cabos, one of the best known destinations in Mexico and one of the most popular among international tourists.
The G20 is the main forum of international economic coordination since it includes the worlds leading emerging and advanced economies.
This year, Mexico chairs the G20, whose members account for over 80 per cent of the world GDP and world trade as well as two thirds of the world population.(*)
