"I have asserted that Kupang administration will simplify somethings regarding effort to obtain licenses by investors who have interest to invest in the city," Salean said here on Thursday relating to the city administration policy to lure investors.
According to him, the city administration will expedite the process of issuing the licenses if the investors provide all necessary things.
The mayor also said that his office will not intervene the investors to decide their business location since it does not violate the urban spatial.
"If the investor wish to decide the business location, let them deal with the local community without the government`s intervention," he said, explaining that any intervention will be disadvantageous to investors.
The community should also take part in making conducive business climate that will create positive impact for economic growth in the regions, the mayor added.(*)
