Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The House of Representatives has stated it is planning to allocate funds equally among the National Police, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and the Attorney General`s Office (AGO) in order to support the organizations` efforts in battling corruption across Indonesia.

"The new budget system is expected to encourage the three government organizations to eradicate corruption in the country," said Gede Pasek Suardika, a member of Commission III for legal affairs, here on Friday.

"The House of Representatives is also considering the approval of the construction of a new office building for the Corruption Eradication Commission, which will cost Rp61 billion," he noted.

Gede added that the members of Commission III would soon discuss the proposal with Finance Ministry.(*)
