Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) opened trade here on Thursday morning with share price index rising slightly by 2.16 points to follow the regional trend.

BEI index rose 0.05 percent to 4,337.53 points with index of 45 most liquid stocks up 0.07 percent to 749.43 points.

"The BEI index followed the trend in Asian markets which tended to rise slightly shored up by increase in US index," Samuel Sekuritas` analyst Sally Agustina said here on Thursday.

Sally predicted the BEI index will move in the range of 4,320 - 4,360 points today as the market players chose to wait and see the release of third quarter financial reports of traded companies.

Panin Sekuritas` analyst Purwoko Sartono said announcement of data about service and manufacturing industries in Europe will have impact on trade today.

"The BEI index is expected to fluctuate and tended to weaken around 4,310-4,355 points today," Purwoko said.(*)
