"Today we can jointly decide the provincial minimum wage, which will be in effect from around November 20, 2012," Muhaimin said.
Three agreements were made during the meeting with the Jakarta governor, he added.
"Firstly, we will continue to monitor the results of the meeting of the Regional Remuneration Board," Muhaimin stated.
"Secondly, we will also continue to coordinate with other provincial governments in order to determine the regional minimum wage in West Java, Banten, and Jakarta," he continued.
"Thirdly, we have agreed to consult each other on a variety of issues relating to implementation of the regional minimum wage," Muhaimin added.
On the occasion, Jokowi refused to go into details about the expected increase in minimum wage in Jakarta for next year, saying the figures were not finalised yet.
"I don`t want to mention the figures because the process is still under way and many things need to be discussed with the Indonesian Employers Association," he explained.
Also present at the meeting were Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah and West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan.
Meanwhile, the former manager of Jokowi's election campaign, Budi Purnomo Karjodihardjo, stated that a Jakarta Care centre has been set up to monitor the government's activities and register complaints from Jakarta residents.
In a written statement to Antara on Friday, he said: "The first move will involve the setting up of a post box number and SMS centres to register complaints."
"People can send their complaints to PO Box 1181, JKS 10211 and can connect with the SMS centre by dialling 085781881181 or they may also call at 021-70881181," Karjodihardjo continued.
"The objective of establishing the complaint centres is to hear out the thoughts of Jakarta residents who are unable to directly contact the local Regional Legislative Assembly (DPRD) or the regional government," he added.
