Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Minister of Manpower and Transmigration (Kemenakertrans) Muhaimin Iskandar visited three locations in namely Cililitan Kecil, Bidara Cina, and Tanah Merah which are still flooded in Jakawrta.

"Handling post-flooding is a serious concern of the Government to reduce the burden of the flood victims. We prioritize giving health serive to the victims," he said on the sidelines of a visit to the flooded areas on Sunday.

The minister also visited a tripartite camp established by Kemnakertrans to deliver aid to some 18,000 people affected by floods.

Dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, Muhaimin talked to the evacuees that the government had to handle post flooding waste management, health service and water supplies.

"We help the victims and provide medicines so that the victims would not be affected by infectious diseases," he said.

The tripartite camp has delivered aid to flood victims such as three tons of rice, one ton of eggs, food, clothing, blankets, prayer tools, toiletries and necessities like bed covers, gloves and roll away bed.

"Kemenakertrans tripartite camp also specially provides 20 doctors and medical personnel to examine the health of victims with free treatment. It also mobilized five ambulances and emergency operational cars," he said.

He said that the health checks and tripartite camp will continue to be made ready until the alert condition was declared conducive.
