The number of downloads in Asia Pacific has hit over 52, 000 downloads with a record of over 22,000 downloads by China, making it the country with the largest number of downloads in the region.

The RS Components 3D catalogue now exceeds 30,000 models from more than 40 leading manufacturers, with new additions being progressively introduced to the library. These models are available for download in most 3D CAD formats, and are accessible via the 3D CAD microsite or the ModelSource component library on DesignSpark. This programme was launched two years ago, with the aim of providing engineers over the world with the access to an extensive library of 3D models at no cost.
