Semarang, C Java (ANTARA News) - Holder of IBO featherweight champion title from Indonesia, Daud Yordan, is focusing his preparation to face South African boxer, Simpiwe Vetyeka in Senayan, Jakarta on Sunday (April 14) evening.

Daud made the remarks when asked here on Tuesday, adding that he still carries out morning and afternoon light exercises.

"I don`t perform heavy exercises such as with the sparring partner because time to fight is imminent," Daud Yordan who has 30 wins of fight record (23 of them by knockout) and two losses said.

When asked whether he will rise to lightweight class if he fails to defeat Simpiwe Vetyeka, Daud said "losing and winning against Vetyeka, I will continue rising to the lightweight class."

Two Indonesian boxers, Chris John and Daud Yordan are fit to fight their contenders in Jakarta on Sunday evening, their doctor, Dr Christofer from the development center of science and technology and national sports health (PP-ITKON) said on Monday.

According to him, Chris John, holder of the WBA Super Champion featherweight title and Daud Yordan, holder of IBO featherweight champion title underwent the health checks on Monday.(*)
