He explained the man identified as Abdul Kurnia was about to leave for Jakarta using afternoon flight. Curious security officers searched over Kurnia`s bag and found an SS-1 gun and 20 bullets in it. The officers also found three pieces of camouflage trousers, a cellphone and a shirt with Arabic letters in front of it.
"Initially Kurnia admitted that he is a military personnel. But he could not show his identification card to us," Sihombing said adding that the suspect was brought to Medan police office for further investigation.(*)
