... perfect system or order is just an illusion... "
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - There is no perfect system or order and therefore continuous correction is needed to reach the national goal of justice and prosperity, President Susilo Yudhoyono said on his Twitter account @SBYudhoyono on Friday.

"A perfect system or order is just an illusion. We have to understand that the perennial thing is the continuous correction and sustainable improvement," Yudhoyono said.

"But we are grateful that our nation remains moving forward, while making changes and renewals with relentless pursuit of perfection," he went on.

The head of state on his Twitter account also called on all public elements to safeguard their respective environment to prevent legal violations.

"Let us round off our fast with a secure and conducive environment. Do not tarnish it by violating the law," the president said.

Speaking at a fast-breaking dinner at the Police Headquarters here on Thursday evening, the head of state expressed his gratitude to the police officers for their dedication in securing the Lebaran holiday travelers.

"I thank police personnel for what they have done so far. And I also thank police officers who will carry out heavy tasks in securing home-bound travelers soon," the president said.

He also also expressed his appreciation to police officers who will not be able to get together with their family members during Idul Fitri because they have to join Operation Ketupat 2013 for 17 days to secure Muslim holiday of Idul Fitri which marks the end of Ramadhan, the Islamic fasting month.

Yudhoyono also urged the Indonesian people to help maintain peace and order. Given the fact that the number of police officers is very small compared to the country`s population, the president said the tasks of the police force are very heavy.
