"The match against Indonesia is a test case for our players. We do not have a particular strategy. However, we will play our best," Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho said.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Chelsea has pledged to show its best performance when it plays a friendly match against BNI Indonesia All-Star here on Thursday although the London-based team does not prepare any strategy for it, Chelsea manager said.

"The match against Indonesia is a test case for our players. We do not have a particular strategy. However, we will play our best," Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho said here on Tuesday.

The match will take place at Bung Karno main stadium here on Thursday.

This is the first time for Chelsea to visit Indonesia. Mourinho said the visit was aimed at giving the best to its supporters in Indonesia and making the team bigger.

Asked about the strength of its opponent, the former Real Madrid manager admitted that he was still analyzing it.

"There is no special preparation. But we hope the game will run well," Mourinho, popularly known as "Special One", pointed out.

Chelsea`s visit to Indonesia is part of its 2013 Asian Tour. The tour is also meant to make preparation for the next season of English Premier League.

However, Chelsea does not bring its full team because six of its players some time ago defended their country in Confederation Cup in Brazil.

The six players are Fernando Torres, Juan Mata, Oscar, Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz. Meanwhile, Kevin Bruyne did not join the visit because of injury.

However, some players such as Frank Lampard, John Terry, Ramires, Demba Ba, Eden Hazard, Peter Cech, Ashely Cole join the team to play against Indonesia. They pledged to play their best.

Chelsea arrived in Indonesia via Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at 01.00 pm on Tuesday. In its previous friendly matches, Chelsea beat Thailand All Star 1-0 and defeated Malaysia 4-1.(*)
