"Based on the police chief`s decision number Kep 557/VII/2013 dated July 31, 2012 Comr. Gen. Oegroseno has been appointed to the new post of deputy police chief, replacing Nanan Sukarna who has reached retirement age," head of the public relations division at the Police Headquarters Insp. Gen. Ronny F Sompie said here on Thursday.
Police Chief Gen. Timur Pradopo will lead a ceremony marking the transfer of post of deputy police chief from Comr. Gen. Nanan Sukarna to Comr. Gen. Oegroseno at the Police Headquarters on Friday, he said.
Oegroseno was earlier chief of the security maintenance board at the Police Headquarters, chief of the Central Sulawesi provincial police and chief of the North Sumatra provincial police. (*)
