Bekasi, W Java (ANTARA News) - Police officers seized evidence of terrorist activities in a raid at a rented house in Pintu Air Village, Medan Satria Sub-district, Bekasi, W Java, on Wednesday.

"The police secured evidence of terrorist activities, including two firearms, three magazines, and 70 bullets of 0.9 millimetre calibre each," said Chairman of the local neighbourhood Sarjoko on Wednesday.

He admitted that the Special Detachment 88 of Anti Terror seized the evidence from a house rented of a suspected terrorist, Iswahyudi.

Sarjoko said police officers also secured several explosives from the 3X6 meter-wide house as well as several pieces of plastic pipes, predicted to be the cover of a bomb.

"Police secured many powder munitions, along with pieces of pipes, books, and a laptop," he added.

Sarjoko said the suspected terrorists had placed the supplies at their bedside and the gunpowder near the ceiling.

Police wrapped the evidence in two large boxes from a rented house belonging to Misirah.

Previously, Special Detachment 88 had arrested Iswahyudi at a house located in Margajaya Village, S Bekasi Sub-district, Bekasi, on Tuesday evening.

Besides, the police also raided a two-storage printing shop house called Andescre in Margahayu Village, E Bekasi Sub-district of Bekasi.

The police arrested four suspected terrorists at a shop house. These suspected terrorists are Khaerul Ikhwan (Irul), Andri Wahonno, Ahmad Irfan, and Syamsuri (Imen). (*)
